Lynnfield Middle School - Nov. 2019 - Feb. 2020
Lynnfield Middle School is located in Lynnfield, Massachusetts and serves approximately 700 students, from grades 5-8. Lynnfield Middle School holds students to high expectations and their school model is as follows: to support and challenge all students to meet their full potential as individuals and as citizens of the global community.
During my time at Lynnfield Middle School, I choreographed the spring musical. Over the course of several weeks, the students learned 8 different routines, and showcased their skills in 3 shows over a weekend.
2020 ICCA with Berklee's On The Vox
On The Vox is one of Berklee College of Music's co-ed a cappella groups, that I helped found in 2017. On The Vox applied to compete in the 202o ICCA completion and asked me to return as the choreographer.
Over the course of several weeks I taught the group 3 routines for their 15 minute set. They ended up placing 3rd in the Quarter-Final Completion, and I received an award for Best Choreography.

Teaching Philosophy
Teaching jazz, tap, ballet, and acrobatics to young dancers ages 2-8, and choreographing electrifying musicals and creative performances for adult groups, Starr’s passion for dance is all about empowering her students to express their unique voices through movement!
Starr strives to create an inclusive, vibrant space where each student can discover the joy of dance and explore their emotions with freedom and confidence. She focuses on the fundamentals while leaving plenty of room for creativity and self-expression, helping students connect with their bodies and build confidence.
Dance is about more than just technique—it's about feeling the music, telling a story, and experiencing the magic of movement. Through a blend of teaching methods, Starr aims to spark inspiration and encourage every student to shine—whether they’re performing on stage or discovering new possibilities in the classroom
